NASHVILLE, February 15, 2012 – Couture bridal house, Modern Trousseau, is pleased to introduce its signature gown collection to Nashville, TN. On March 1, 2012, the custom label will unveil its newest U.S. flagship showroom in the heart of Nashville’s downtown arts district at 425 Church Street. The boutique is currently taking appointments from prospective clients who can expect a chic, bridal salon experience hosted by a talented staff, as well as a large selection of wedding gowns, veils, and accessories.
"We are thrilled to open our third U.S. boutique in Nashville’s historic downtown area,” said designer, Callie Tein. “The new store will provide the modern bride with just the right touch of romance and classic sophistication in a beautiful space that exudes vintage charm. Our goal is to create an exceptional, couture shopping experience that a bride will remember and treasure the rest of her life.”
In preparation for the March open date, we have taken steps to create an updated showroom that is both elegant and relaxing, while preserving the location’s original, historic charm. Meyer Cohen, a businessman and lifelong Nashville resident, built the property in 1890 to house his jewelry business and residence. With its white glazed-brick arches, and balustraded loggia, the Cohen building is an exceptional example of late 19th and early 20th century urban, shop-house architecture, and remains the only one of its kind on lower Church Street in downtown Nashville.
Modern Trousseau flagship boutiques, known for well-edited selections of lace, fabric, trim, and incomparable style, are a boon for brides in search of the perfect wedding gown. Customization is the brand’s hallmark — along with couture details and impeccable composition, a Modern Trousseau bride is guaranteed to walk down the aisle in a gown as unique and individual as she is.
Australian-born designer and creator of Modern Trousseau, Callie Tein, proudly designs and makes her gowns with love in the USA. Since launching the collection in 1994, her designs have garnered high marks from bridal editors worldwide, and have been featured in publications such as Inside Weddings and Martha Stewart. This designer will only accept absolute perfection for her line of couture bridal gowns and evening wear. Ultimately, each garment is a one-of-a-kind, wearable work of art created to mark that very special moment when a woman becomes a bride.
Modern Trousseau gowns are available at boutiques worldwide. Along with Nashville, showrooms are located in New York City and Charleston, SC. For more information, please visit www.moderntrousseau.com.
